The Integrative cell and tissue dyamics group at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) is looking for Postdoctoral Researcher to work on the Mechanics of Intestinal Organoids. The contract will be within the framework of Mechanobiology, whose objective is to unveil the interplay between mechanics of biological function.
Main tasks and responsibilities / The successful candidate will develop research involving:
- Development of technologies to map cellular forces
- Numerical simulation of cellular dynamics
- Experiments to observe organoid spreading and folding
Requirements for candidates:
- PhD on Physics, Biology, Biophysics
- Multidisciplinary training (Biology/Physics/Math)
- Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork, Commitment, Proactivity, Colegiality, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.
- High level of English
- Number of available positions: 1

- Full time 1-year contract. Very competitive salary.
