Biography
Born in Barcelona, 1955. Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (1977), and PhD in Computer Science (1983) by the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). Professor since 1990 at the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). The teaching activities are in the subjects: Robotics, Computer Vision, Medical Imaging and Computer peripheral, and Medical Robotics. Her research is in the field of medical robotics, both for the assistance to the disabled and elderly and in surgery.
