The Nanoprobes and Nanoswitches Group is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to develop light-regulated drugs to control brain waves. The contract will be within the framework of the project Technologies Emergent (CECH) and of the 2017-SGR-1442 (AGAUR).
Main tasks and responsibilities / The successful candidate will develop research involving:
• Design of light regulated drugs to control brain waves, and required molecular tools (recombinant DNA, small molecules, peptides) and optoelectronic instruments
• Characterization of light regulated drugs in vitro and in vivo
Requirements for candidates:
• PhD on any field on pharmacy
• Multidisciplinary qualifications (molecular biology, biomedicine, chemistry, etc.) and/or knowledge on photopharmacology (including design and characterization of photochromic bioactive compounds will be a plus).
• Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork, Commitment, Proactivity, Collegiality, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.
• High level of English

o Full time 3-year contract. Very competitive salary.
