The work, in collaboration with researchers from the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB) and the Institute of Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia (IQAC), presents the discovery of a new chemical compound able to promote axonal regeneration. This discovery is a further step towards the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases and spinal cord injuries.
