The signature of the MoU was on the last day of the NIMS Week 09, a congress focused on Nanobio-materials and Technologies for Breakthrough in Future Medicine, gathering over 200 experts from around the world, where Prof. Planell gave a talk within the symposium on Tissue Engineering and Related Material Science . Under the agreement NIMS and IBEC will promote the exchange of researchers to execute research projects, exchange of information and publication on the research and the implementation of cooperative research between the two institutes.
The signing parts from NIMS were, Dr. Yuhi Miyahara (Managing Director Biomaterials Center) and Professor Guoping Chen (Group Leader), and from IBEC, Prof. Josep A Planell (Director) and Abel Riera (Managing Director).
